More importantly, JetBlue is one year removed from the most difficult month of its existence...

Is it better than it was? Probably. In some ways yes, in some ways no.

None shall pass!!!!

Like several other members of this forum, I was a guest of JetBlue on their first flights - we flew JFK-BUF-JFK-FLL-JFK; a fun day of flying.

Even on the first day of flying, I could tell that JetBlue would be something special - the staff at JFK had been well enough trained that they were able to give me boarding passes for all four flights when I checked in at 5:00 AM, with no fuss. Once we were in the air, the inflight service was friendly and attentive not just to the VIPs on board, like Charles Schumer and Rudy Giulani, but to everyone.

JetBlue's staff was also able to adapt on the fly. Originally, JetBlue was going to take the guests on the first flight to lunch at a restaurant on the beach in FLL, but the flight left very late from JFK because too many politicians gave long winded speeches. Because we would be on the ground only briefly, JetBlue's staff arranged for a nice buffet to be set up for us at the airport.

I'm glad JetBlue has made it eight years - hopefully, the best is yet to come!
