I was wondering if anyone knows what type of 777 EK will use on the new CPT route. The EK website says 777-200/200er. The question is does EK have ER's? Will this be a new plane or just one from the fleet? Will the seat in J be flat or just recilned ?

Will chauffer drive be offered in Cape Town ? Under the Chauffer drive listing for JNB it says that is offered in CPT, Durban and pretoria but EK in manchester is unwilling to book it for me.

I would love to see EK in Cape Town. Probably a 200.

Hi SAA

Emirates will use the B777-200's on the route.
Will be one of the folowing A6-EMG-A6-EMK. 3 class config 12/42/236
These are slowly being fitted with the new First/Bisiness class,
So u might find that some might fly with old seating till they all fited out.

CPT is available for chauffeur drive. Maybe speak to a supervisor in MAN. Probably just an agent who hasnt got the update.

Nothing seems as good since the VC10.

The above link is a picture to the old J class seats. Does anyone have a pic of the new j seats ? It does not seem to be on the database for the 200's, I promise to take some photos when I fly if it is on the plane.

I don't think they're being installed on the 772s yet. Check out those on the 77W. I have a family member who flew J on the 77W recently, heard it was amazing.

There will come a time when you believe everything is finished - that will be the beginning.

The question is does EK have ER's

EK has 3 777-200 and 6 777-200ER, however they are used as one aircraft type really. On any given route that is a 777-200 you could get an ER, or a non-ER, but they would just call it a 777-200. They might have ER's going on some of the longer routes all the time.
