www.flightaware.com shows a ATA 757-300 in Evansville today. Is anyone available to take a picture and post it since is is soooooo rare that a plane this large visits Evansville. Thanks

In the air charter business, anything is possible. TZ ran a CLE-YNG flight yesterday. It was for a presidential candidate, but that was a 10 min flight or less by air. On a 737-800 no less.

I'm guessing some type of corporate incentive trip... but I am trying to think what companies in the EVV area are big enough to do such a trip for employees. Perhaps Toyota, Bristol Myers Squibb or GE Plastics. That's about all I can think of. Maybe Old National Bank... any other big companies in the area I am missing?

Also interesting to point out is that this was an international flight. EVV is not an international airport, so when these folks return to the states, this flight will have to make an intermediate stop somewhere to clear customs. That could be anywhere.

I am not sure who it could be. It has been a while since I have been back home, but I remember Whirlpool not being in such good financial standings, so I don't think they chartered it. Maybe Toyota, AK Steel, Alcoa, Bristol Meyers, GE?? Maybe it was a field trip for USI or UE students? I remember back in the late 80s of going to visit my grandmother who lived on the other side of US41 from EVV and hearing the jets take off. Now all they get are ERJ/CRJ for jet service.

Ah you beat me too the punch... I thought about that after I went to bed last night but decided getting back up to post it would just end up having me play around here for another hour then I would be exhausted at work today. Oh well, you snooze you lose.
