I have never flown on a CRJ, but I have noticed that they are being used on longer and longer routes, which could involve mealtimes. Does anyone know if they are equipped to serve hot meals? Years ago, a reservations agent for United told me that they didn't have hot galleys on the 737-200s I was booked on, therefore just cold meals were served. Since some of these bigger jets can't serve hot meals, what about a smaller jet like the CRJ?

I've been on an Adria Airways' CRJ-200LR and we were served with normal hot meal.

I am pretty sure that it is an airline's choice which type of galleys the choose.

I seriously think I just creamed my pants without any influence from any outside variables.

Im sure the CRJ's could be configured to serve hot meals..I do know on our Skywest CRJ's all the galley room is spoken for, so we dont serve meals. Somewhere, you would have to sacrifice something to find room for a warmer..cold meals however, would be pretty easy...sandwiches etc....

I flew on LH from Brussels to Munich with the CRJ and they served hot meals. Even on the leg afterwards from MUC to ZRH (only 50 minutes) we got warm foot !
