Well here we go again. We have another incident regarding women on Southwest that react to their personal experience on their flight to their destination. There claims and brief story are in the writeup below. Frankly, speaking for myself I don't know how these things happen. I hope fellow A-Netters here have an answer to this situation.

Considering that they were escorted off the plane by the police and the FBI got involved, I'm afraid the girls aren't telling the real story. To pretty to fly, please wonder what their GPA is?

Who knows, they could have been just jealous of us because we were younger.”

With that attitude, I think the flight attendants did the right thing.  Smile

Obviously, there's another side to this story (the crew's) that has yet to be heard, but also keep in mind that we're in of the media's "sweeps" ratings periods (higher ratings = higher advertising rates), so it also kinda sounds like the particular station is making a molehill into a mountain.

They were banned from all future Southwest flights?? There is definitely more to this story than the Mean Girls are telling! They don't ban you for nothing... Even that Kayla girl can still fly!

I think these girls are a bit self involved...there statement that they thought they must have been too pretty to fly is an indication that they self absorption probably is what caused the ruckus.

I have to agree. In some ways, I'm wondering if this is part of a ploy to get money from the airline. The airline has had several highly publicized incidents involving women in the last year, and stuff like that gets people to thinking about trying to cash in on this. If they're like most college students, they're probably are having to pinch pennies (Wouldn't be surprised if they paid for their tickets with a close to maxed out credit card.). They've seen the publicity the women in the previous incidents got and probably think that's their ticket to fame and fortune. In addition, they're 18 years old, and as shown with the Barbie Bandits (who were around that age) who robbed a SunTrust branch here in the Atlanta area last year, there might be more to this than what's being said and someone could have put them up to do this.

In addition, Southwest says they caused a disturbance. Anyone think that someone may have been drinking? They are some-what attractive and could have easily gotten someone to get them some alcohol by batting their eyelash at a some lonely businessman.

This is your typical pair of big mouth attention whores, lots of this going around nowadays. I'd say this is a good experience for them to learn a lesson, but they're more than likely too stupid, so instead they're 'victims', America's new favorite thing to be. Some parasite will represent them, you can bet on it.

Frankly, I think these "young decent-looking girls" are leaving a lot out of the story.

There are three sides to every story. My guess is that these two bitches got mixed up with two other bitches on the plane and the ones with the power won. lol

I've dealt with FAs that had pretty poor attitudes in the past. However reading their comments I'd tend to think they were 70% to blame. All attitude and no brains.

Since USF recently graduated a football who didn't write a single of his own papers and also had an Academic All-Conference player who had previously failed out of community college, I'd say their GPA is probably quite inflated and irrelevant.

I would love to say these 2 are ugly. But they are far from ugly. I commend these WN pax for being as hot as they are.

It's a novel defense and if anything, these 2 girls have a case. They got hauled off the plane for apparently nothing.

If SWA has a claim, they ought to elaborate on what it is. Otherwise, it does not "look good" for WN...

Most likely, indeed the FAs got in a catfight with these girls. They probably "talked back" in a sassy and inappropriate way to the FAs. Taking shit from 18 year olds must really suck. On the other hand, sometimes that's part of your job description. Calling the cops for no reason is actually illegal as well... something to keep in mind.

I guess in that case, what the girls (allegedly) did was wrong, but the FA's handling of the situation was probably just as bad, which leads me to this cliche of a statement, "two wrongs don't make a right..."

Insert zinger here; I am coming up dry tonight...

I agree completely.

Last year during the spring break period at o'hare, we were having a weather day from hell.

there was a college student princess traveling with her dog to Pensacola, the flight was overbooked and we were going to be able to issue her a boarding pass until we dropped unclaimed seats 10 minutes prior to push back. this young woman called her father and repeatedly tried to have me talk to him on her rhinestone studded blackberry (which I refused to do). she also refused to put her dog in it's carrying case and at one point it got into an altercation another dog that was in its carrying case. it was a mess. i finally called the police to come shut her up or take her away. they took her away...and then the flight to Pensacola cancelled with nothing available for 3 of 4 day. made my day.

Tired of airline bankruptcies....EA/PA/TW and finally DL.
