Hello all

I'm planning to go to Mexico in early April. I will be flying on AC and UAX from YYZ to IPL. I like to know the status of carry on bags, are we allow to bring onboard the napsack bag or we have to use see through plastic bags to put odds and ends inside the bag for security to see? I want to bring my camcorder onflight so I can take video of take off and landing.. plus with my stuff like passports, wallet and etc??

I'd check the airline websites for information to make sure you follow their specific rules.

The only things I put in the quart sized zip lock bags are liquids which are 3.4 oz or less, things like toiletries, the other item I pack in my roll aboard or backpack with my laptop. I've not had any problems at all either in the U.S, Mexico, or Europe but things do change from time to time so I'd check with the airlines.

Yep, I'd be reading the official websites rather than what 20 A.netters think you can do. It's all easy to find:

Ah, well that would be against US federal regualtions, and no doubt Canadian regs also ... but I've probably stirred up a hornets nest there!
