ATC recently took delivery of a leased Dash 8 Q 300, in a bid to revive services after dissolution from SA

What a/c do Air Tanzania have in their fleet now ?. When I was at JNB last week there were 2 very sad looking Air Tanzania 737-200's sat opposite the domestic ramp by the SAA hangers in various sates of dis-repair.

They actually took or will take delivery of two Dash 8's according to skyliner-aviation.de:

When did the F28 leave?? It was still operating when I was last in DAR in Sept 2005. They only had 2 732's then, 5H-ATC & MVA, wiki says they have 3.

The Dash 8 is a smart move to compete better with PW & their ATR's. Has the order for Q400's been confirmed?

Precision Air of Tanzania received its first ATR 72-500. The aircraft has seven ‘-500 series' aircraft (5 ATR 72-500s and 2 ATR 42-500s) onder to renew its existing fleet of4 ATR 42-320s and 3 ATR 72-210s.
