I am travelling on this service on Friday (29th) and I was wondering if any US personnel knew which aircraft this would be or atleast confirm whether or not it is the 333 that has had the cabin refresh.

Thanks in advance.
Ry.

i don't work for US, but i'm pretty sure US734 is always an A333. i hope the flight's on time because only half the computers are working in the customs hall, thus creating huge queues. LH426 doesn't come in until 4pm, so our pax always are excited to see the long lines  Smile poor guys...

are your sure it's flt 734 or 735? 734 is phl-man .735 is the return man -phl . now if your coming back from man on this day your on flt 735 and your on a/c N275AY A330-323X. you have a great cabin crew working . bring them chocolates . you have no idea what wonders will happen for you if you do this. now if your on flt 734 phl-man on the 29th i do not have the tail number since the flt is to far in advance and no crew but only a few are on the trip as of now. the reason i know who is working flt 735 is because they are working flt 734 tonight on the 27th phl-man. and they are there in man for a night returning on friday afternoon to phl . i am a f/a for us that's why i know all this. hope this helps and have a great flt.

Why are only half the computers working?

US has shuffled the wide body fleet around during the past few months as some aircraft go in for paint jobs or reconfigs. So on occasion MAN-PHL has been done by a 762 or even a 752 in a few cases i believe.

because a few weeks ago there was some crazy weather and the roof leaked inside the customs hall and i guess that damaged the desks/computers. so basically the amount of processing desks for customs were cut in half.

Not to be a total pain in the ass. But does it really matter? I mean, you already have the ticket and are going to go on the flight either way.

Hi everyone. I know it's a 333 but just wondered if it was to be the one with the cabin refresh. Also, it is the 735 of course, I just got my flight numbers mixed up. Sorry.

Absoloutely but it is nice to know either way.

Ryan,

Bring your own headset, US charge $5 for theirs. Not sure what the difference is between CO/DL at $1, NW free, gold plating must have fallen off mine!!!

Wrap up warm, friggin freezin in the Northeast at present!

Can someone clarify this post, I read it as Manchester, UK to PHL being operated by a B737-400 and thought, wow, thats not happening surely? But the posts are talking about 737's, a330's and b767. I'm a bit lost.

734/735 are just the flight numbers. Like US 1234 or whatever. I could see why its a bit confusing...

I had a look back through the MAN movements logs and I can't see either a B762 or B752 on PHL-MAN-PHL since Oct 2007, they have all been A333.

However, I could have missed a substitution, do you have any exact dates?

We've had the B762's in MAN but not since last October IIRC. They B757's are yet to visit, however they are slated to be visiting for a few weeks in September of this year, presumably whilst the A333's go in for checks?
