Meeting Place In EWR

My wife & I are crossing paths in Newark on March 11. She is returning from Switzerland (CO79 from Zurich) enroute home to Ottawa (CO2759) whereas I am arriving from Syracuse (CO2647) enroute to Oslo (CO38).

As far as I can determine from Continental's website (http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/travel/airport/maps/ewr.aspx) our flights should arrive in and depart from Terminal C. However on her itinary, it says that CO79 arrives in Terminal B. Which is correct?

Is anyone able to confirm which gates our flights are arriving at and where a logical meeting place would be. I have never been through Newark before...

Also how long is it likely to take her to clear US Customs upon arriving from Zurich?

Thanks in advance,

phille

She may arrive in B, but her flight to Ottawa will leave from C. After she clears customs in B she will take the AirTrain over to C and clear security there. Then you two can meet up. I don't know the arrival times so I don't know how much time there is that you can see each other.

All CO flights not to specific competitor hub cities will leave from Terminal C no matter where they arrive.

If your times match up, just choose one of the bars/sit down restaurants to meet in.

Click on the shopping and dining tab and then the icon with "drink and silverware" and it will show you sit down places to meet.  Smile

Just to add on here, Terminal B is only used for inbound international CO flights when there are no gates available or customs is backed up in Terminal C.

CO may throw a wrench in your plan though, as some your 2XXX numbered flights (ExpressJet) may end up arriving/leaving Terminal A.
