Does anyone know how many and which B.757 Fedex has already acquired ?
There are some sites on the web which list a couple of airframes, but they give conflicting information.
I would expecially like to know if Fedex is getting two Monarch aircraft as reported in some publications, as other reports mentioned that they will be scrapped when leaving Monarch.
Same for two B.757 from Harmony in Canada - some reports say they will be scrapped, others see them with Fedex.
Also there seem to be several B.757 coming from China (Southern).

I've seen a 757 at the old ATA maintenance hanger in IND, which FedEx has acquired, but only from a distance. I don't know what the registration number is.

The 2 Monarch a/c G-MONB and G-MONE are due to be parted out end of October 2008 and will not go onward to FedEx
2 Thomsonfly a/c maybe acquired by FedEx G-BYAF is to leave Thomsonfly by the end of April this year, and is rumoured to be converted. Also SE-DUO (the former G-CDUO) of TUIFly Nordic, is to be withdrawn by the end of March, and undergo freighter conversion.

Thanks for the info so far.
This is the list of Fedex 757 which I have gathered from various sources on the web and in print, which makes already 22 assigned US registrations. Plus up to 9 more aircraft may be. All but one with Rolls-Royce engines. And they have probably already sourced more, looking at the gaps in the registration sequence.
Amazing when we consider that no big legacy fleets are involved (yet).

I wonder if FAT will see the 75. We currently connect in OAK for MEM and 1725 local departure stinks. I promise to post pictures of the first arrival.

Have any FedEx 757s been painted yet, and are there any photos?
