Once while at the airport to recieve someone I saw an Uzbekistan Airways IL86 land at Karachi carrying ONLY crew, YES! almost 300 stewards and stewardesses plus cockpit crew, saw them streaming out endlessley from the arrivals hall and not just that then they immediately proceeded up the escalator into departures again, what was that all about?????  Smile

when was that ..... you mean the plane was carrying a plane load of crew only..... has'nt Uzbekistan playing stopped flying to KHI few years back ... i cant think of an explanation ....

Yes! it was just crew in full regalia really weird, saw this in March of '98, regarding HYs service to KHI im not sure but the last I heard they were operating the Avro RJ-85 to KHI and LHE which was confirmed by someone at this forum, according to their confusing website they list KHI in their destinations but not in their schedules so I guess theyre out no mention of Lahore either but Birmingham is in since when did they start service there, heres a pic from there Smile

I don't know much about anything, but could it have been for some kind of a corporate reward program, or training? Just a thought...
