I'm planning to travel SYD-YVR in May and Korean Air have some cheap first and business fares. The KE website shows 2 different 772 configurations (one with their new flat beds in F and J, the other with the old seats).
Just wondering if anyone may know which configuration they operate on SYD-ICN and ICN-YVR. I'm guessing it's the old seats Thanks.

Actually I was talking to the KE Station Manager to AKL and he said that North America SFO/LAX/SEA/YVR was almost exclusively the newer config (3-3-3) rather than the 2-5-2 config that AKL gets. AKL has had the newer config only twice since their introduction, both times as a result of an aircraft change at the last minute. I would expect SYD to have the old seats, but to YVR the new ones.

Both ICN-SYD and ICN-YVR have old config at this point, and will last for a while. No AVOD/PTV, just main screen, and 2-5-2 economy class seat arrangement. Also not sleeper type F/C, just old type seats. Around 1/3 chance to have 110V power plug, regardless of your class.
