I'll be flying INV-KOI (BA8919) and KOI-ABZ (BA8833) in September. I booked using BA's website. The flights are, of course, operated by LOG, which was a BA franchisee. As you know, BE will become LOG's franchiser. Come September, the flights will surely have BE flight numbers. But when will I know what's happening? Thanks.

According to Loganair's press office:

"Loganair can confirm that their franchise agreement with British Airways has been extended until 25th October 2008 to allow for a seamless transition. "

So, whats the problem???

Correct the BE franchise is only on the new DND to BHD an BHX routes from May. All BA franchise routes will operate until 23:59 on Saturday 25th October 2008.

FYI - from 26th October 2008 BA will still codeshare but the aircraft will be Flybe operated by Loganair and will intime be resprayed into flybe colours.
