Airbus have delivered the third A380 to SQ.

Great news!
I am booked to fly with SQ on an A380 in early April. Now I can speculate which one of THREE planes I might be on.

Exellant, it's great to see these birds starting to get into service. With all these deliveries I wonder how long it will be before some wag points out that after the 9v-SKD is delivered the back-log of the A380 will be declining in 2008!

I saw SKA and SKB in SIN a few weeks ago and they are gorgeous birds.
Can you imagine what it will be like at LHR in ten years time?

The evening rush hour like we have at T3 at the moment is going to be amazing to see by 2018. All those marked with a '*' would probably be customers of the A389 if and when Airbus decide to launch it, which I see as a when, not an if. LHR is going to be an amazing place to watch the planes, thats for sure. Every other widebody is going to be a 787, add heaps of A330s, the odd A340, maybe still some 744s soldiering on, and of course the dozens of 77Ws that LHR will see in 24 hours by that time. Awesome....
What do you mean you dont have any bourbon? Do you know how far it is to Houston? What kind of airline is this???

This being said. Are there plans by Airbus to ramp up production in order to reduce the delays?

The 3 planes will be used on LHR - SIN - SYD - SIN - LHR flights. If I am not mistaken the flights are so coordinated that you can fly from LHR to SYD with an A380? Next week the LHR operations will begin.

Great news indeed. More and more A380 start picking up their commercial activities. Soon we will also see them in the beautiful liveries of Qantas and Emirates!

It's expensive for middle class people to travel overseas from America, and my brother-in-law and his wife and children will be moving back to the 'states shortly...they are hositing my wife and I for our first visit to Asia [free lodging and board helps us out immensley from a financial stand point ]
