Hello all,

I just thought I would start a thread tracking where ship 7101 is and what the routes are going to be before it starts the Mumbai runs exclusively with sister ship 7102 on March 30th. I know we'd all like to try and get on it before we have to go to Mumbai to experience the flat-beds. I'm sure that information is spread across various thread, so we can bring it all together here.

So, if you have any information on where it will be in the coming month, or if you have spotted it somewhere in the country recently, this is the place for it  Smile

cheers

Quoting WindowSeat (Thread starter):
I just thought I would start a thread tracking where ship 7101

Just when we finally got the Peter Max threads to go away...  Wink

That thread was precicely the inspiration behind this one Big grin

Not to worry, once March 30 rolls around, we all know where those two ships will be, so surely this thread will go away  Wink

Well, not to split hairs but, "The Spirit of Delta" is a 767-200 and is located at the historic hangar #1 at the DL World Headquarters complex at ATL. "The Delta Spirit" is the 777-200LR and is currently sitting in BOM awaiting it's return to JFK on 14MAR.

Mar 18 NRT-ATL

Actually, as of tonight, it appears that the 77L was yanked off the ATL-NRT-ATL rotation on 3/17-3/18. The 77L will operate ATL-JFK-BOM on 3/18. For some reason, though, the "77L" designation is still on DL 55 but the seat capacity listed is 50J/218Y. JFK-BOM has the "777" designation yet has 43J/233Y. Very odd indeed.

On a related note, I have been told that ships 7103 and subsequent will be delivered with 45 J seats (+2 from 43). Retrofits have been scheduled for 7101 and 7102.

This is true ONLY if Delta does not do a special / amazing paint scheme on the bird. If that happens, well, it's over...
