Dr. Phil has the two teens on that were traveling between TPA and LAX, as well as Kyla Ebbert from the SAN event.

If your local TV station repeats this later in the day or evening, it's Tivo-material....

I whole-heartedly agree. Dumber than a bag of hammers. Give me a fu**ing BREAK! I did enjoy the SWA F/A union president though; "...or maybe [the reason they kicked you off] was your behavior." Priceless!

DISCLAIMER:

I do not regularly watch Dr. Phil. I was flipping during the commercial breaks in a Star Trek re-run and landed on Dr. Phil who happened to have a SWA plane pic up and it piqued my interest.

I just thought I needed to get that out.  relieved

Well also not a fan of Dr. Phil though saw on this saw on this site that he was going to have on these two dim wits. The dim wits made mention that they have hired a lawyer? And they also said it was the media that took what they said and spinned it, yet Dr. Phil showed an email the wits had sent and it was EXACTLY what the media was saying! The wits then said that Dr. Phil was focusing on that and not the total picture. Prove that sisters and brothers should not be allowed to reproduce.

Sure, thats possible. Judge Judy says it all the time, "Dumber than a pale of rocks, I swear to you; gasp"

This is nothing more than some overly sensationalized drama caused by two spoiled runt catty teenagers whom are wanna-be Paris Hilton sterotypes.

Absolutely outrageous and I believe not a second of anything they say. To me they appear to be the typical arrogant/obnoxious young, catty girls "Talk to the hand, cause the face aint listening!", "i'm all that and more", and on this Dr. Phil episode they're acting and actively playing this victim role like they're on some soap opera.

Every excuse in the book in an attempt to sway what actually happened, too. Whats even dumber is trying to sway something of which you had a hundred plus witnesses to.

I'm still watching, only about 25 minutes through, but Dr. Phil played a tape from a witness whom explained what really happened. In all reality, a witness whom has nothing to gain nor lose, no financial gain, and sat directly behind these idiots, explained what really happened, of which sounds most realistic (and likely is 90-100% true).

Passenger witness said exact words (I have this episode Tivo'd, so i'm typing as its played)

"When I got on the plane, I sat directly behind the one in the window seat, when I looked at them, they appeared to be snotty, children - they had a lot of attitude. The bathroom incident, the flight attendant came down the aisle and questioned her why she was pounding on the door, and why she put her fingers in the mans face and was using profanity towards him in a threatening manner. The girls just laughed it off; the flight attendant said that this was very serious and that we can have you arrested for that type of behavior - and then when we landed in LA, four officers came on, and the girls just looked at eachother and started laughing, saying "you have got to be kidding" - they come across as young and spoiled, there were a lot of attractive people on the flight, that had nothing to do with it, you get back what you get out [ end of tape ].

The girls continue to bash Southwest, citing their own fictitious "facts", skewed toward their personal gain, "Southwest gets these kinds complaints all the time, this is the norm with them", and such.

Nonetheless, whats next, lawsuit? Soap Opera series? Sitcom? Everyone needs a winfall these days

Edit: Still watching, had to laugh when the girls said "We never received a refund for our tickets, we bought them using our skymiles", and the Southwest rep clarified by saying "Actually they were, your rapidrewards were refunded".

Well in the case of these two dim wits I'll quote another favorite of Judge Judy, "Beauty fades, dumb is FOREVER". And from the looks of them, there is not a whole lot of beauty to begin with.

Well, my sincere apologies that spelling or grammar isn't my personal strength  Yeah sure Judge Judy is known to use a calculator to add ALL of her mathematical figures, many of which can simply be added in ones head.

Therefore, your point being exactly, what?

I came on here wanting to post this topic but looks like someone beat me to it! I have "Airline" on my Tivo keyword wishlist, and when I saw Kyla's name in the description, almost deleted it thinking it's some rerun or something like that. Boy am I glad I watched it, HILARIOUS! It's bad when Ebbert is the reasonable one calling others attention whores. You could tell Dr. Phil was restraining himself from calling them out on being moronic liars. I like that he mentioned flying them hundreds of times and always having exceptional experiences.

The best part, as Warszawa pointed out, was when they said the tickets were bought on Skymiles  rotfl   liar   hissyfit   banghead . Just the fact that they had the 16 "Skymiles" needed for the r/t shows that they've "successfully" flown on WN despite being "Too Pretty." Also, I really didn't think they were much to look at...but maybe that's me.. At the most, they are 3 Diamonds on the Spitzer Scale! ''

Oh, and nice job on all the contradictions, especially when they denied ever saying they were too pretty despite writing it in ALL CAPS to the media.

Off to go finish laughing!

Haha, very true - hey, maybe they didnt fly Southwest after all, they flew Delta!  liar

All I can say is that I was utterly disgusted when at the end of the show, to no surprise, what do you hear? "We're already discussing this with our attorneys".  Yeah sure

These bimbo's need to get a real job instead of counting on fictitious lawsuits and attempted winfalls.

I was surprised to see some two ladies came onto the show near the end, citing they had a bone to pick with Southwest after Southwest denied them alcohol on the flight (after already having two drinks at the airport). Witnesses in the boarding area described the two women as rowdy, loud, obnoxious, prior to boarding.

They should be grateful to Southwest for letting them onto the flight, PERIOD, after consuming enough alcohol to become noticeable by several passengers in the boarding area. They mentioned they feel Southwest is discriminating against women (dumbest argument of all time), agreeing with the two bimbo teens that they dont hear about guys getting booted off the flight, etc.

You probably dont hear about it because, quite simply, no guy has yet to waste his time emailing tearful letters to every fox/abc/nbc station affiliate in the United States.

Also, I think its highly impressive that Southwest Airlines, unlike several airlines, will gladly comment or have representatives appear on a show such as Dr. Phil. That shows a hell of a lot of class for an airline, versus the typical "The airline declined to comment on this issue" that you hear on any other airline oriented disputes. Kudos to them for appearing and maintaining a professional opinion and point of view.

All in all, I think lately, its just Southwest's turn around the scapegoat brigade in the industry.

Yeah, I could tell the same, in that he appeared to be restraining himself from just outright calling them liars. He got pretty annoyed when the brunette-teen kept repeating "I feel like your drifting away from the issue" to Dr. Phil, in which he responded "Look, i'm not a drifter, OK?", and carried on.

Not really, the brunette, not at all to me, the blonde is "ok", I think its all the makeup and clothing, however. I dont think that Kyla girl is attractive either - cant believe she had playboy photos taken, ugh, remove those from my issues, please!

It was like they are grasping at straws the whole time.

The one kept saying maybe its because I'm Muslim? No maybe it was because you both acted like total idiots and got what was coming to you. Like Mom always said, "You can't fake dumb". Or in the case of these two nit wits, "It is better to keep your mouth shut and have people think your an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt".

I also found it interesting when the F/A union president said that Southwest never bans anyone from flying them forever, only for amounts of time.

I actually used to like Dr. Phil. But he's made a few missteps recently. They are: his involvement with the Britney Spears mess. He should have stayed totally clear of that one. And his advertising for the match.com website. He has done shows on internet cheating and internet addictions before. Then there he is in an match.com (a dating service website) with the tagline "It doesn't hurt to look......".

So IMHO, Dr. Phil also experiences lapses of judgement from time to time while maintaining his holier than thou attitude.

Hmm...which immediately begs the question how successfully the duo traversed the 2,150 miles from TPA to LAX this time for the Dr. Phil taping?

Look, there are so many aspects to this. Dr. Phil McGraw has long ago transcended from mere television pop psychologist into the realm of human cartoon when he went over to Britney Spears to become her savior during ratings sweeps. He is to human behavioral psychology as Kool-Aid is to Chateau Margaux. Then there are the girls.

Somewhere our society has descended into the abyss. When a call girl from New Jersey (with a proboscis that puts Cyrano de Bergerac to shame) can parlay her two hours with the governor of New York into a potential seven figure income via the centerfold method, why am I not surprised these two bimbos are attempting a variation of the same at Southwest Airlines expense.

Has anyone noticed the not-so-subtle version of subliminal "counter-programming" the networks are using whenever these type of stories arise? Southwest had an attractive blonde on YouTube giving an effective corporate rebuttal for Southwest; Fox News had these two up against the formidable Laurie Dhue and Martha McCallum interviewed Kyla Ebbert. In effect a slam dunk visual argumentation against the bimbettes being "Too Pretty to Fly."

Oh no, let them keep going on shows like this... it's the best PR Southwest can get. WN can't buy the good publicity these girls are giving them. Every time I see an interview with them it makes me want to fly WN that much more, knowing that WN crews don't put up with BS on their flights.

I wholeheartedly agree. I think whatever feeling of wrong-doing people (including myself) may have had towards WN is completely gone thanks to these girls going to Dr. Phil. Listening to them made my head hurt, I'm not gonna lie. I really don't know how Dr. Phil could sit there and listen to them without beating his own head in with the aforementioned box of rocks. I'd not seen pictures of the two girls before, but I have to make this comment - they are WAY off the mark with their 'we're too pretty' comment.

From what I can see from the video, it's probably more likely that they were removed from the aircraft because livestock aren't allowed in the cabin, even if they have previously won 'Best in Show'.
