Have not seen it reported or discussed before.
Anyone got any further info?
Would not be to surprised at that. However it will probably be at the expense of the LGW route. Think this could be a winner for BACF is the flights are well timed and the night stop is done in DUB.
Would give Cityjet a much needed run for there money on the route.

Hopefully it will bring CityJet fares down a bit, they can be very high!

It would be a shame to see them leave the LGW route but it is getting a bit crowded with Ryanair, Aer Lingus and BA on the route.

It has not yet been decided what Airport it will operate via.
3 X daily would probably be using the BACF fleet of RJ85 & RJ100 aircraft.

Agreed also they can charge more money operating to LCY
It will be an RJ100. There are several RJ's based at LCY. The A318's won't be in place until next year anyway AFAIK.

I don't think so. The report also mentions the LGW route and how BA carries 60,000 pax per annum on the 4 per day route. I have flown the route a couple of times with BA and the aircraft was jam packed both times.

That would be great, this route needs competition, about time another carrier came on the route. I don't think either that BA will pull DUB-LGW, I'd imagine there would be a good amount of connecting pax. Time will tell.
