Midex, Another New 742 Operator

skyliner-aviation.de reports that Martinair 747-21AC PH-MCF has been reregistered A6-MDG and will be repainted in the livery of Middle East operator "Midex" this month. I hope they are painting it a bit more "Oriental" style than their bland A300.

My thoughts exactly. There's been a lot of discussion regarding the replacement for the YX MD-80s, but I was a bit shocked to think that it might be the 742!  Embarrassment

Surely some PhotoShop wizard can come up with a livery mock-up. The only question I'd have is how many gold stripes to put on the #1 engine (assuming 4 on #2, 3 on #3 and 2 on #4).
