In the final week of december 2007 there appeared the first photo of the first MD11F for Aeroflot Cargo. Since than I have seen or heard nothing of this aircraft. What happened and on which routes will Aeroflot Cargo use their MD11F's? Will they send them to South America too? Is there a cargo market between Russia and South America?
Here we go again with the RG maintenance debate. How many times will we have to say that the MX problems on ex-RG planes started to appear more than one year after they were sold. It has nothing, or very little to do with RG.
Why whould the plane need extra MX anyway ? They could have fixed it all at once and then put her to the air.
AND I think it looks crap in the Aeroflot livery. But that's because I hate Aeroflot AND the livery.

Right. Just ask JetAir about their 763, OO-TUC. Nearly averted disaster on its delivery flight, and has had more trouble ever since.

I do like Aeroflot, especially the newest livery. I have never flown Aeroflot in my life, but I think they are now much better than what they used to be during the communism era. Please don't be so negative. Have you flown Aeroflot? If so, was your trip really bad?
I think the MD-11F is a fine aircraft, and it looks quite nice in SU's latest livery.
WILCO737 must know, he flies MD-11F's for LH Cargo.

I don't understand how one could hate Aeroflot. Yeah, their ground staff is a little rude at times.. but in the air since joining SkyTeam, I've never had a problem.
