Camair restarted domestic flights to the north of the country after suspending flights for ten days following the retirement of their administrator Paul Ngamo Hamani, who was installed to the position following the liquidation of the airline in 2005. In French:

However, Camair doesn't have a plane. But it has 800 employees and 122 million euros in debt:
"La Camair, qui ne possède aucun avion, compte aujourd'hui 800 employés contre 1.309 en 2005. Sa dette était évaluée en 2006 à 80 milliards de francs CFA (122 millions d'euros)."

So what plane are they flying? Anybody know what's going on?

There should still be a B763 aground or is it used by the president? Camair was leasing a B733 (TC-TJB) from Corendon lately, with a very ugly c/s.

As far as I know, the government hasn't yet decided - after cancelling talks several times - what will happen with CAMAIR.

What happened with NACAM, an airline that acquired a B732 last year? Website: http://www.flynacam.com
An other private operator is http://www.elysianairlines.com/

Strange as I've seen their sole 767 operating from CDG 3 weeks ago and this to DLA-NSI and another city of Cameroon.

The Corendon contract is still running, as the 737 is a frequent sight in West Africa.

I don't know what happened to Nacam, but I believe their 737-200 went back to Avolar of Mexico.
