I wondering if PHF is ever going to get a new terminal or if there any talk of any other airlines that want to service PHF I know its only GA, FL, and US right now but it is a real busy and real small airport with all the military that flies to it I wondered if there is any talk of expanding the airport and making it look like ORF.

ORF is a huge part of PHFs problem. With the amount of traffic that ORF sees, it will be difficult for PHF to grow beyond where it is today. To be honest with you, I'm surprised PHF gets as much service as it does. Its not like its a hassle free alternative to ORF, since ORF isnt really a hassle to begin with. Along with the military traffic, the local business market must really value the convenience of PHF.
I havent been there in years, but I remember them having a very nice terminal.

DL also serves PHF.
The airport website used to have some information about their expansion plans, but I can't seem to find it after their website redesign. But according to an email response to a question I asked their PR department, they are planning to build a second concourse and (eventually) expand the baggage claim area. They opened a parking garage sometime in late 2006/early 2007. I haven't heard about any new airlines coming to Newport News, given the current economic climate not many airlines are talking about expansion right now. I am rather surprised Delta has kept the number of flights they have at PHF considering the size of their operation at ORF.
