New AF762!?!?!

Just got the Feburary issue of AirlinerWorld, and I noticed under Boeing Deliverys, that AF ordered 1 767-200ER. I also noticed that on the Boeing website, under the orders section, a 767 was canceled. Was this the AF762 canceled? Its really hard to believe, seeing that they saw its smaller size an oddball in their fleet, and sold them a bit after the AeroMaratime taleover. Was this just AirlinerWorlds misprint, or does AF actually have a 762 on order?
Thanks, Tom

I don't belive Air France has actually B767-200s on order. However, they once had 2 of those aircraft in their fleet, notably F-GHGD and F-GHGE. Those aircraft have been on lease with Balkan from Bulgaria, and after being returned from their lease to AF, they have been transfered to El Al where they are now operating. However, I think they still belong to Air France.

Alain Mengus should be able to help you with more detailed information regarding this question.

Hey!
As HB-IWC said, both of those 762s are flying now under El Al's c/s, 4X-EAE and EAF.
They are the most powered 762 in the world, having those big PW4060A under theirs wings.
El Al OWNs those jets.

King767, you just got your magazine ?
I got mine three weeks ago...
as for the question, I wondered about it myself, and thought about posting a question like you did, but I figured it most likely was a misprint.
