Binter Canarias ATR Order

Canary Islands-based airline Binter Canarias said it is buying six ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft manufactured by EADS and Finmeccanica joint venture ATR.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.


Shoudl make them one of the largest ATR customers worldwide.

As much as I like the ATR72, I would love to see a larger aircraft in Binter colours, maybe a CRJ900 or and EMB170. jet flights between the islands like between the Hawaian Islands in the Canarys would be great.
