Any chance of a new UK destination?

BHX would be good, although maybe that is too close to MAN and LHR but if EK can do it why not?

I dont understand why they dont consider to fly to IST even with smaller equipment for the beginning (A320). Is there really more potential in MSQ than in IST?

I'm also amazed that they don't serve SAH. IY currently have SAH-AUH under lock and key. Perhaps when they get more lift destinations closer to home will start filling out.

Well TK don;t fly it daily and some of the flights have an additional stop - hardly huge demand there.

again IY only serve SAH-AUH three times a week. Hardly suggesting its a big important market......

I'd like to see them add PER, EK does very well out of Perth and don't seem to have enough capacity at the moment. A daily flight would be good and they would be alot cheaper than EK too so might give EK a run for their money!

Qantas, Still calling Australia Home.........

Minsk???!!! You've got to be kidding.... although, I am sure, there is not a lot of competition in the Belarus-UAE market Smile

I'm not saying SAH is necessarily a huge market. But one must keep in mind that IY too are a little short of aircraft and there may be scope for it.

Is there any chance they will add ATH soon?
AFAIK a new UAE-Greece bilateral was signed last week, raising the number of weekly flights allowed from 14 to 28. Considering EK has 7 and OA 6 weekly flights between ATH and DXB, an EY service wouldn't have been possible before.
So is ATH even under consideration? Since Emirates, Qatar and Gulf fly to Athens daily, the market must be there, what do you think?

Seems like they have just plans for four indian cities, two already served by cargo flights, Beijing and Moscow for this year.
