MEL-PVG operates one day after PVG-MEL, so, how does QF rotate the aircraft, would it make more sense to schedule MEL-PVG on Mon and Fri instead of the current tue and sat? Also, how does QF rotate the crew in their China services?

thanks

I'm pretty sure the rotation is something like SYD-PVG-MEL-PVG-SYD

but SYD flights do not operate on Mon and Fri, where does the aircraft come from at PVG on Mon and Fri?

It comes from MEL as those days are 332s whereas the other days SYD-PVG is 333s.

all makes sense now, that's what I thought was going on. It turned out QF didn't update their schedules on their China website. The updated information on the australian website makes much more sense.
Thanks guys.
