Today troubled airline AZ started to operate its new network to GRU offering 6 x week FCO-GRU and 3 weekly MXP-GRU all with the B772. GRU was the only AZ destination to receive an upgrade in frequency and capacity at the time AZ moves its hub from MXP to FCO. AZ will offer a long awaited nonstop link between Brazil and FCO.

We can expect AZ shift to FCO to boost TAM operations as now TAM will be the sole daily operator between MXP and GRU and we can expect an upgrade in equipment soon.
