Hey Guys,

I have a friend working in a maintenence facility here and he says there is a 737-300 being painted in a weird livery.

He describes it at having 4 circles on the front section of the fuselage, both engines completely in red and a large green circle under the registration would be which usually is towards the end of the fuselage.

I would appreciate if someone could lead me to which airline this is, I really can't think of any, maybe its a special new livery!

Thanks,
Tomas.

Viva Aerobus

Tomas, is there anything "rare" in Costa Rica in maintenance right now? I saw one of your pics with an Adam Air on the background

Hey man how have you been? Nice to hear from you, right now Coopesa has a ton of airplanes, here is a list of what I know as of today:

Aloha 737-200 N810AL
Aloha Cargo 737-200 N817AL
GOL 737-300 PR-GLE (I think this is the one being painted in the VivaAeroBus scheme)
Aerolineas Argentinas 737-500 LV-BOT (ex. CN-RON of Royal Maroc)
flyLAL - Lithuanian Airlines Boeing 757-200 LY-FLG (ex. G-BYAR of Thomson FlyTUI, this arrived Sunday in this livery without titles)
Unknown MD-83 ex. N993PG (all white, no engines, been here for a long time)
Ryan International N151GX Boeing 757-200 (been here for quite a while, had some parts stripped off for another 757-200 which was delivered about a month ago to Zoom Canada as C-GTDX (ex. Ryan/Aerosur N753NA)
I think there are two more aircraft inside the hangar though not sure which, a KLD 737-300 was here sometime, no registration but I really never saw if it actually did leave or not, did not see it Sunday.

By the way thanks for identifying the airline, it is undoubtedly this one!

Doing good man, and thanks for asking!

Interesting stuff over there, looks like the maintenance facility in Costa Rica is busy. Wonder where the Aloha 737s will go since the airline is gone. Hopefully you can get a picture of the FlyLAL in full colors.

Did you get to see the AeroSur 757 N753NA?

Yes I did see it parked but no photos, arrived at night and left at night so nothing could be done.

Yes, it is still here, I just listed the "active" aircraft and not the junkyard ones, those are

N369FA Allegro 727-200
YV-32C Aeropostal Venezuela DC-9-51
TI-AZS Aeropostal Alas de Centroamerica DC-9-21
Midwest Express/East African Safari Air Express DC-9-14 (can't remember which reg it was but I can get it if you need it).

Regards,
Tomas.

Guess that one was never taken up by African Safari. Is it in full c/s?

saludos!

Yes there's a pic of his, I think on jp.net where you can see the Adam Air on the background. Someone told me they saw one at Miami also, so it's probably that one which passed through MIA for maintenance or delivery.
