Everything I've seen has said that LH will operate the AB6 on LH4732 on the 30th June. But could someone please officially confirm it'll be by the AB6? I realise, of course, that substitutions occur.

Dave at the butty hut on the A66 phoned his mate Phil who checked his brother in law Nigel's spotting notes from the last few weeks and he says that it is operated by the A300 as well.

Looking at ACARSD, the earlier LH4728 flight seems to use the A300 more often.

Flight is loaded in the LH system as AB6, so you can count on a big bus  Smile

It can't be guaranteed, Lufthansa swaps so often on the last minute. If another flight sells well while this LHR flight reservations slow down from now on, they easily swap. Between Amsterdam and Frankfurt it's usually another type then in the time table, like when the table says 733 or A320, they come with an ARJ or A-321 instead. So I'd only count it's about 50% chance.

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Thanks folks.

I realise and appreciate that it can, of course, change, but I believe it's nevertheless worth the calculated risk.

I've noticed that the AB6 is scheduled to operate LH4732 (and LH4726) a lot of the time from the 1st June, whereas pretty much all others aren't. So, I reckon the odds are pretty high of getting on the machine.
