Quoting QatarA340 (Reply 3): I assumed they are three flights since I saw a commercial some time before of starting their third daily flights here in Dubai...
There are three flights a day. It was until recently two nonstop, one via HAM. Now it's three nonstop.

Quoting AlitaliaMD11 (Reply 5): There are only 2 daily flights now, both with the 777-300ER.
There are only 2 daily flights from DXB-JFK. I don't know the loads of EK but from what is said its very good or maybe I'm mistaken from my source.

Quoting Dennys (Reply 9): That's NO RUBISH and i wait for your explanations .
The Rubbish was the "sold out" garbage information. The flights are not sold out or full in Y by any means, 8 months in advance. It was unbelievable when it was posted, and proved to be inaccurate. It was clearly a mistake on the part of the OP who didn't know how to read something he saw. So starting a thread based on false information is, in all honesty, rubbish.
Or rubish.

Currently only two (EK201 -sure- and EK205??), both operated by the B77W. A third one will be introduced in autumn 2008 and it will be operated by the A380. However, I believe this can be as early as August...
I don't know, time will reveal the exact day! ...

Dennys, as you've been informed, Fly Emirates is clearly talking about the fact that loads are not high on those flights. He's saying the original poster's information is "not true." That's what he means by "rubbish."

Quoting Piskoto (Reply 14): No! I mean the newly introduced (by summer) A380 will be used for commencing the third daily flight - which currently does not exist- towards JFK...
But the A380 will be introduced on one of the current 2 daily flights in October and not before.
