With all the cutbacks, do US airlines still give out amenity kits in premium classes on international/long flights. Like BusinessFirst on CO, it's been a while. Or UA's premium transcon product

AA still gives out amenity kits in International F, and I believe J, though I'm not sure about J.

I flew in Economy from DUB-JFK with DL in November and yes, all pax got an amenity kit with toothpaste, toothbrush, a pair of ear plugs, eye-shades, hand lotion etc. A nice touch, and much appreciated by the pax. It's the little things that make the difference.

EDIT

DL kit can be seen here:

Not really relevant, but last weekend I wore for the first time a pair of socks I got as part of an amenity kit on UA SFO-SYD in 1995. They weren't very comfortable.

Last time I flew int'l in J was DL ATL-STR-JFK in 2000, and we didn't get an amenity kit.

Can socks go off?

Heheh...good question. I was more referring to the size/cut of them. They fit more like slippers - covered the entire sole of the foot, and the top of the foot, but didn't cover the back of the heel, Achilles tendon area, or ankle at all.

CO has amenity kits in BusinessFirst, not in Economy.

All US carriers give out amenity kits on their long-haul First (those that still have it) and Business cabins. As for international Economy, only Delta provides an amenity kit (though in a rather unattractive but environmentally-friendly brown bag - it's what's inside that counts!) as mentioned in Post #2.
