Good news for Wichita after Boeing lost the tanker deal. The new Cessna Columbus business jet will be built in Wichita. Now, if I could only afford one.  Smile

Where else does Cessna build its business jets?

Do they have more than one plant?

Cessna builds the Mustang with its piston planes in Independence. I think the local government was probably concerned Pelton would shop around to see what sort of handouts various states would offer. After all, he did just send the C162 to China.

Still, I don't think too many people were expecting major changes. Local and State government was not about to let Cessna walk away without a fight!

I just realized it should have read "Columbus" instead of Columbia. Sorry for the typo.
