Ozjet Ownership? What's Happening?

in the last 10 days we've heard that supposedly Our Airline is interested in buying Ozjet (for what possible reason not sure ?)

Today in Australian Aviation newsletter it says Toll Holdings, majority owner of Vigin Blue & therefore V Australia are in talks with Ozjet for possible takeover. Why would that be ?

Is the New Zealand connection with Airwork for OZ freight ops not working out ?

Anyone know what's going on ?

I have just read that OZJET have pulled out of PMR (NZ) before it even started. They cited a possible merger with a conflict of interest with the route. There is another article found at http://www.stuff.co.nz/4454151a13.html which explains the sudden cancellations of OZJETS arrival into NZ. Not sure whats happening here

that seems odd considering that Toll have reportedly been trying to flog off their stake in DJ - why try to get out of a profitable business only to invest in one that seems doomed to failure ?

Toll Priority (Aust freight business) uses Airwork NZ AOC. Maybe they want an Australian AOC for some reason or the much talked about DJ ULCC will actually be owned by Toll rather than DJ itself, perhaps in case ULCC doesn't work, it doesn't drag DJ's name down with it ?

Anyone have any suggestions ? It all seems to have gone quiet.
