I have a Delta flight in early June that has MCO-NAS segment. Originally, both had been Freedom Airlines. Given the recent Mesa issues, I wasn't surprised when the outgoing segment was changed to Atlantic Southeast. But, I'm surprised that the return has not changed. I'm worried that we'll get stuck there.  Wink Any ideas why the return hasn't changed?

The schedule past Jul 1 is still the default, which is currently based on Mar 8-Apr 9 schedule, which includes Freedom. There should be another schedule change later this month that will fix this problem.

Are these flights with the DHC-8s which Freedom used in JFK in Delta colours? They were booted out last summer due to dismal economics and on time performance. Have the DHC-8s been parked or moved to Florida?

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

The Freedoms ERJ's are gradually being phazed out. We dont use any Freedom Dash-8's anymore for Delta Air Lines

So, from a pax standpoint, does this mean flights (that are kept) will now have CRJ's (boo!) where we previously had ERJ's (yea!)?

Finally made it to an airline mecca!

Deltas schedule from 05JUN to 06JUL is firm...Freedom ERJs both ways....
In May they have a smattering of ASA RJs.
This is based on their schedule development page and DLterm.

Correct. But as stated, the ERJs are being phased out, so there's no single date where every flight switches over like this.
