IFE On UA 744 And Airside Spotting @ ORD

PTV's on UA 744 SFO-SYD / MEL-LAX ?

What about airside spotting at ORD ( have 2 hours ) LAX ( 4 hours ) ... recommendations ?

MEL & SYD ?

For O'Hare:

Terminal 1 (United) large windows throughout with nice views of the ramp/runway(s).

Terminal 3 (AA) has pretty good spotting at the tips of all concourses, especially H and K. Good views of ramp, taxiways, and nice background thanks to all the heavies at T5 across the way.

2 hours is not that long at O'Hare considering how far it is to walk from say, Terminal 1 to Terminal 3. It's an insanely massive airport, so pick a location close to where you need to be and spot from there. I wouldn't recommend wandering around too much because you'll waste most of your spotting time walking.

Only in First Class and Business Class. Economy is either projector screens or LCDs.

Personally, I think the best spotting location at ORD is at the end of concourse L (The Delta concourse). There is a large waiting area at the end that is usually pretty quiet and has good views of Terminal 5, the international terminal. It is especially good between 12:00 and 4:00 when the European block is in. The end of concourse K is good also, just more crowded with several gates in the area.

Unfortunately, these concourses are the furthest point from the United terminal 1. As mentioned above, the walk can take a little while. You can do it all airside though.

The other good locations tend to be at the end of the concourses in each terminal. I like the end of E & F since they have good views of the intersection of 10/28 (old 27R/9L) and 32L/4R.

I can't help you with LAX as I have never been there.

Agreed. If you're there in the afternoon, I'd say to go ahead and make the walk. You'll only have 30-45 minutes over there, but you'll see absolutely everything that serves ORD.

The C concourse at Terminal 1 has a nice big food court right at the middle of the concourse past the esclators to the underground walkway, and seating where you can see taxiing aircraft. Some of the windows have been covered with panes of artwork and there is a big framein the way but you can manage looking out and getting photos.

I did flew on 744 past this monday on April 7th, there is no PVD on each seats  Sad I was hoping that I would have them as those were came from intl flight before continue to SFO from ORD but nope. Also I flew on 772 from SFO to ORD yesterday as they are domestic and no PVD too.
