I just saw this article Allegiant Air, the largest carrier at Chicago Rockford International Airport, flies the same kind of airplanes that have been grounded for American Airlines but doesn’t expect the same problems.
Allegiant’s fleet of MD-80s has been inspected by the Federal Aviation Administration in recent weeks as part of a nationwide audit of those airplanes, spokeswoman Tyri Squyres said today.
“We worked very closely with the FAA and we remain compliant with the original airworthiness directive and we expect no disruptions to our schedule,” Squyres said. http://www.rrstar.com/homepage/x987432096
