Fokker 100 Still In TAM-fleet?

Hi!

I am wondering if TAM has already phased out all Fokker 100-aircraft as part of their fleet-renewal-programme? If there are any Fokker 100 left, when are they due to be phased out?

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards,
Mike

The remaining 04 frames are operating for TAM subsidiary in Paraguay; now called TAM AIRLINES instead of TAM - LINEAS AEREAS DEL MERCOSUR.
Soon all are going to leave and all the fleet is going to be standard A320.

Cheers,

Yes, I know this source, but in this specific case I kind of doubt that the information is 100% up-to-date. This is why I was actually looking for more information...

ATDB (www.aerotransport.org) still displays 05 frames operating for TAM--PT-MQC/MRB/MRE/MRG + PT-MQK listed as "leased-out" to PZ (being the only one still displaying the Mercosur flags by the L1 door). Is this information up to date? If not, which is the one not flying and when will the remainder be retired?

I'm flying on PZ on 01MAY and 06MAY on the EZE-ASU-CBB and VVI-ASU-EZE routes respectively; any chance of an F100 or A320s 100% guaranteed?

Saludos,

ZXV

As TAM stops short of LPB I have no clue what they actually use for Bolivia, but as you probably already know A320 in the system.

The EZE-ASU will be A320. The ASU-CBB most likely to be F100. CBB is one of the routes that is too big for the A320. Probably will receive one of the 2 A319 TAM will receive later this year.

Hi Richard,

Heard that 2 A319 will replace 2 F100 on ASU hub. Am i wrong ?

Any of my brazilian friends know what frames are coming to Mexico for Click MX???

This year ex. PT-MRH now XA-MRH and PT-MRA now XA-MRA arrived but those are only 02 of a total of 08 frames.

06 more are pending for delivery and JJ is the source. Anyone knows which ones are they? Thanks!

Hi Felipe!

I have no information about it. But seems reasonable as to me 319 fit better to PZ than 320.

And PT-MRB is now at MEX joining QA today., most probably it will become XA-MRB.

Safe to call PT-MQK is the last Fokker 100 in JJ?

Shouldn't be, remember there are still another 4 which have all been confirmed pretty recently at PZ destinations.

PT-MQC/MRB/MRE/MRG + PT-MQK listed

Right ZXV!! But we can consider them as part of PZ and not JJ?s!! Anyway, seems the days are numbered, if there are only 04 remaining PT-MQC/MRE/MRG and PT-MQK it match the number of QA's missing frames for 2008 and due all before July 2008.

Is JJ doing some kind of special retirement ceremony???

What was JJ's biggest active fleet???
