US Airways Inks New Codeshare Agreement with Swiss International Air Lines

Fellow Star Alliance Member Carrier to Link US Airways Passengers to 10 European Destinations Though Its Zurich Hub

TEMPE, Ariz., Apr 18, 2008 -- US Airways' (NYSE: LCC) customers traveling on the airline's popular nonstop flight from its international gateway hub at Philadelphia International Airport to Zurich, Switzerland will now be able to enjoy convenient connections to 10 European destinations through a codeshare agreement with Swiss International Air Lines (LX). SWISS customers will also benefit from the agreement with the LX code being added to US Airways' Philadelphia-Zurich route. These codeshared routes go on sale April 19, 2008 for travel April 28, 2008 and beyond.

The 10 codeshared routes available through Zurich are as follows:

-- Geneva, Switzerland (GVA)
-- Nice, France (NCE)
-- Athens, Greece (ATH)
-- Vienna, Austria (VIE)
-- Dusseldorf, Germany (DUS)
-- Hanover, Germany (HAJ)
-- Nuremberg, Germany (NUE)
-- Stuttgart, Germany (STR)
-- Luxembourg (LUX)
-- Bucharest, Romania (OTP)

US Airways now codeshares with Star Alliance partners Air New Zealand, Asiana Airlines, bmi, Lufthansa, SWISS, Singapore Airlines, Spanair, TAP Portugal, and United; GoCaribbean Network partners Bahamasair and WINAIR; and other codeshare partners Air One, EVA Air, Hawaiian Airlines, Royal Jordanian, and Virgin Atlantic.
