Hello all,

I just saw a very light and steep AF B747-400 departure at AMS. Sorry, no reg noted.

Do anyone know the reason for this?? Maintenance?? Diversion?? KL replacement??

Quoting KL1291 (Thread starter):
a very light and steep

Meaning there probably wasn't much fuel and was most likely headed to Paris...

I believe it is F-GEXA that has just left AMS for CDG. As far as I know, is has been at AMS for maintenance for the past week or so. It seems to have arrived April 13.

and I do hope KL will keep its 744 or buys 747-8 , not like AF , getting rid of them ! Please ask KL not to send a bloody A332 or 77X to CDG but a 7GOOD 744 , like KLM did to LHR a couple of years before !

I HATE TWINS !!!!

regards

dennys.
