Just curious to see how much a couple of trips from LAX would cost you in Business Class...

LAX-SEL (KL/UA) US$2,300
LAX-LHR (BA/VS) US$7,879
LAX-CDG (UA/AF) US$6,589
LAX-NRT (UA/JL) US$4,823

SEL looks to be, by far, the best deal, especially for Business! Talk about sticker shock for LAX-LHR, though! WHEW!

It seems that business fares from the States and Europe are all crazy and more or less the only reasonable place to buy your tickets is Asia, Thailand for example..Agree?Opinions?

Even worse:

First Class:
LAX-LHR (UA/BA) US$13,431

That crummy little cubicle sure as hell isn't worth $13,431!

Don't fly to LHR or CGG:
NYC-FRA/MUC (UA/DL) $6200
NYC-FRA (FI) $5700

LAX-FRA (UA/DL) $7900
NYC-FRA (FI) $6500

some error due to rounding  Smile

Is it really an air fare? (As a Seoulite.) Cathay Pacific sold SEL-HKG-Europe return with HKG-Europe by biz class for $700 in 1999. Now it'll cost about $750 to 800.

Yeah, I know. My family and I were thinking about going to Ireland and Scotland during the summer, and it is flat out too expensive. Airfare alone would cost more than 1,000 dollars a person, and with my younger brother's Bar Mitzvah occurring in September, we just can't afford to spend that much on our summer vacation.

Hey,
Just to let you guys/gals know that there is a thing called economy class. It saves you a few bucks most of the time. Just wanted to let you know. From Boston it cost only a few hundred as of the last time I checked  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
