I was at work to day, and saw a Airtan 717 on its way to 4R on at MDW with a picture of Danica Patrick and the Airtran logo said AirtranAnica on the FUS.. I did not get to take a picture or a tail number, but I was not seeing things.. Has anyone else seen this plane?

It is to give congrats to Danica. She won a Indy Car Race. Airtran helps her out. She still has alot to win to match up w/ Shirley Muldowney. The First and Greatest Female race car driver!!

I did not know that... But I know that she won the race....But that was kind of fast to get that on the plane.. Is it only going to be just that plane? or are there more to come?

FL has sponsored Danica for a while now (perhaps since she entered the sport, or not long after), and while there are some in the racing world that despise Danica, it's probably on balance a smart move for them.

She much less likely to cause problems than Michael Vick.

She is a hottie, but she slammed the Packers and Packer Backers. Local stations here won't even mention she was born in Wisconsin anymore.
BTW, wasn't it AirTranica?

I have been blessed to meet Ms. Patrick several times and even got a fun pace car ride from her. Very charming, fun and, well, not hard to look at either. Kudos for her for getting her first win in IndyCar!

WIsh I could be at RIR (Richmond International Raceway) to see her in a couple of weeks. The Times-Dispatch had a good write up after the Japan 300 and there is a plan to give her more press. Also ticket sales went way up for "open wheel" racing there. Richmond's not a big track either, and that's what makes it more exciting than NASCAR. For you NASCAR fans, don't knock it until you see it, really!
