Hey!
Im flyin a 747-400 of Asiana, are they good or bad. Tell me about them. I have one more question though.....where are they based???

I have flown Asiana several times, and they are good. On about the same par as Korean Air. The 744's are nice.
They are all based at Seoul Kimpo Intl. Airport, S. Korea.

Asiana plans to move bulk of its operations to Inchon soon, so you may end flying into that brand new airport. Their safety record is exceptionally good and their fleet is quite young. OZ has never lost a soul on international flights.
Just some background info here on. It was started as subsidiary of Kumho Conglomerate (Chaebol, as it is called in Korean). You may have seen Kumho tires on some cars. Started as Seoul Air Int'l (or something very close to that, correct me if I'm wrong) and changed their name within a few months to their current one.

DL3744, when will you be flying them? You will love their service an their beautiful flight attendents. They always have a recent movie, and a ghetto independent movie you have never seen. Compared to United or Northwest, Asiana is superb in its SEL-LAX flight.
