It was just reported on the local news that the pilots did admit that they were sleeping and were startled when they awoke to discover where they were.

You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

Maybe they finally come to the conclusion that as long as there's human up front they'll fall asleep. Solution- eliminate the human.  Big grin
