Problem With LH Online Check-in?

Not sure if anyone can help here. I'm flying with Lufthansa from BRS-FRA at 6:30am tomorrow and am trying to check-in online. According to LH, you can do this 23 hours in advance (very German  Wink ) but I keep getting a message stating:

"Your flight is currently prepared for check-in. Please log-in again in a few minutes and check-in for your flight. Please note: If you have a transfer flight, Online Check-in is available 23 hours prior to the departure time of your transfer flight."

Does anyone have any insight into this? Is there a problem with LH online check-in or is it just my computer being a pain?

Cheers.

Gareth

BRS is a pretty new destination, probably they are not OLCI capable

That's an option. I hadn't thought of that. I don't necessarily want to print my boarding passes online, I just wanted to use the seat map to choose my seats. Thanks for the info anyway!

Try to re-checkin in a few minutes.
Normally, it would work fine (have the same probs on my weekly Inet Check-in for my flights from/to MUC).

Nevertheless, you do not have to print out your paper-boardingpass after you use the inet check-in.
Just go to one self-checkin-desk at the airport, put your credit card/M&M-Card in it an the section "forgot your online-boardingpass?" will appear at the screen. Then you can printout your normal boarding pass at the desk (including the preselected seat of your inet-checkin)

Thanks for the advice Andie. I've been trying for 2 1/2 hours no but still no luck. I called LH web support and they said they could check me in over the phone but then the girl realised she couldn't access the seat map herself. She was very confused by this because she said Eurowings flights normally show up no problem and that it had nothing to do with BRS-FRA being a new route. All she could suggest was trying again in a few hours. Any more info that anyone has gratefully appreciated!

The system is fairly buggy and I've frequently had problems with getting OLCI to work (with LH). And today (and yesterday) SQ is not letting me OLCI for my AKL-SIN-BLR flights - they normally allow OLCI 48 hours before departure.

If there are any LH guys who are in charge of this, here's another problem I faced: my last flight, out of Asia, with connection in Munich, would only let me OLCI 23 hours prior to the connecting flight, which wasn't useful. Bug or intentional? Something wrong with the reservation number?

According to the error message I am getting, this is intentional: "Your flight is currently prepared for check-in. Please log-in again in a few minutes and check-in for your flight. Please note: If you have a transfer flight, Online Check-in is available 23 hours prior to the departure time of your transfer flight."

Well something has changed, I could earlier OLCI on connecting sectors as well - at 23 hours earlier.

I've just got it to work. No idea what went wrong earlier but I have allocated us seats together now so all is good. Thanks for all the input guys.

Thanks interesting. I have also had bugs on AF-KL OLCI, so it's perhaps more complicated that what we would expect but it's too bad that there are these "difficulties" because OLCI is really a great time-saver.

maybe an equipment change, because not all EW 146's are with the same configuration.

 checkmark
but dont forget that not every airport has these cki-kiosks available and I'm pretty sure that BRS is such a station  Wink

in about one week LH will start mobile boarding pass service on selected routes (FRA-HAM). You get the boarding pass on your mobile phone and at the airport the agents or yourself scan the barcode to board the aircraft.
