A/C involved was China Southern CZ6621 (A321) and Xiamen MF8052 (B737).
CZ's A321 received take off clearance while MF's 737 was on the other end of the rwy.
CZ's A321's pilot aborted take off with only 40 meters left before collision.

YLWbased.


Hong Kong is not China. Not better or worse, just different.

Was it an A319 or A321? The links says it's an A319.

I am so glad a major accident was averted...phew!
