How Long From London To Poznan?

Hi,

How long does a flight from London to Poznan take? I am booked on the following:

Dep: [STN] London - Stansted
Mon 02 Jun 08, 17:05 Outbound [POZ] Poznan
Mon 02 Jun 08, 20:05 Non Stop
2h 0m

Rtn: [POZ] Poznan
Wed 04 Jun 08, 22:10 Return [STN] London - Stansted
Wed 04 Jun 08, 23:10 Non Stop
2h 0m

Both flights are timetabled to be 2hours. However, on the following page:

Flights from London Stansted are listed as 1 hour.

I know they usually timetable in extra time, but surely not a whole hour...?!

My question is: How long does the flight actually last on a typical day?

I think that the POZ-LTN and POZ-STN services must be operated by Concorde!

Consider the following data from the above link:

POZ-MUC 1 hr 40 min
POZ-FRA 1 hr 55 min
POZ-STN 1 hr 0 min

I am guessing that they are clock timings or that someone in Poland has overlooked that UK time is one hour behind Polish time. Add on that one hour for the UK (and Ireland) and you get back to a 2 hour POZ-LON flight. But that still seems quick compared to the FRA timing.

POZ-MUC and POZ-FRA are both operated by ATR turboprops, thus relatively long flight times, in excess of 1h30.
POZ-STN is about 2 hours.

British Airways has the flightime of 2hrs 05mins LGW-POZ and 2hrs 15mins POZ-LGW.

These flights are operated by 735's, which fly around M0.73/4, whilst ryanair fly 738's operating at M0.80.

So 2hrs is about right, however, there have been some stiff ATC delays recently on routes to/from poland recently, due to ATC shortage in Germany.

Two hours makes sense, than add in the time zone difference of one hour and the schedule is fine.

It is a small but nice and modern airport. You have a choice of BA, Wizz and Ryan to get there from London.
