BA 744 Go Round Today At PHX?

Please, I don't need the usual comments such as 'it happens all the time' and 'it's hardly newsworthy'.

I was on the I10 today and it looked like the BA 744 did a go round, unless there was another 747 that took off just near the BA plane on it's downwind leg. Anyone?

I'm can't speak with certainty (I work at Rio West), but I did see something come across SOCCom about "BA take 2"

As far as I know, only BA flies 747 to PHX. Wonder what the go round was for, someone didn't get off the run quite as fast as they thought? Some animal on the runway?

Dave

Can I have a mojito on this flight?

True, but there are sometimes 747s there that are special charters and other aircraft fueling up after sitting at Marana.
