FRA maybe...but does BA actually fly 777s to FRA ? I dont think they do to CDG...I would think the same logic would work there (more frequency and smaller planes).

LGW...I thought Qantas flies to LHW.

Colombo ... does Garuda Indonesie fly there ?

Colombo rule it out- NW dc-10-30 and Continental 777 but I have no clue what airport it might be . LAX-Garuda dosent fly to LAX and neither SRILANKAN .And London Heathrow - Continental dosent fly to LHR they fly to Gatwick . Parisien maybe the Qantas plane was diverted to Gatwick there is always a possibility . A good bet too would be Narita . But my doubts would be concerning the fact of a 777 of BA I belive they operate the 7474 on th rooute .

It aint LHR,LGW or FRA.
CO,NW,Garuda dont fly to LHR
QF,UL dont fly to LGW
BA dont fly 777s to any European destination

FRA is the likely contenders as Parisien pointed out. But BA doesnt fly the 777s anywhere in Europe, do they?

Defintly not Gatwick - only GA, CO , NW fly there. UL, QF fly to Heathrow.

And as Garuda do not fly to many points in Europe(only LGW, FRA and AMS) that rules most of these airports out.

Definetly not LAX - UL, GA do not fly there.

Definetly not SIN - CO do not fly there.

I reckon it could be FRA if the BA 777 was a last minute substitute, which could be likely.

Someone give us a picture please!

FRA checks out with me! Maybe the BA777 was the first 777 on test flights ??? I know they did LHR-CDG testflights with it ??

Is there a rego for the BA777 - it may be one of the high density 777's

Sounds like BKK (BA operate a B777 there on some routes). Garuda uses BKK en route/from LGW.
