Does anyone know what's going on at Colorado Springs today? There are a ton of different charter flights headed there. Military deployment from Fort Carson, maybe?
Here are some of the unusual flights on FlightAware:
NWA9816 - A333 from DTW
SWA6482 - B737 from VCV
SWA7240 - B737 from VCV
CXP211 - B734 from ENV (Wendover, UT - Xtra Airways)
SCX8901 - B738 from VCV (Sun Country)
SCX8900 - B738 from VCV
What's the story? Any idea where the mystery pax will be headed to?

There's a lot of bases within range of Victorville... Fort Irwin is one, although VCV isn't listed as one of the airports they use.
It could also be Air Force related, Edwards is right by there.
When CRAF flights go, do they ever operate directly from bases, or do they have to go from commercial airports where the airlines would already be licensed to fly?

Forgot about the Sierra Pacific Flights (SPA flights same as tail numbers N703S and N712S) too. Add to my original set a B6 flight from VCV (returned to LGB, probably to resume normal ops).
The A333 returned to DTW, so the VCV explanation doesn't totally solve the mystery. Would an international charter to KUW or somewhere pass through DTW for fuel before dropping pax off at the COS, which seems to be the final destination for these flights? Would any military flights outprocess troops through VCV before heading to their actual base (like Fort Carson)?
At least one of the WN planes returned to PHX as SWA8601. Can anyone confirm if 8xxx numbers are military charters for WN? TZ used to use a system like that.

all but NWA are taking the troops from Ft Carson to N.T.C. and victorville is the closest, the A330 that was there to day was going to KWI....the xtra airways charter was a casino express flt to wendover
