From what ive heard JL stopped DFW at AA's request. AA wanted the route to themselves and JL put a code on it. It serves the same pupose. AA now has 2x daily service to NRT.
AF stopped because of 9/11 and the fact that the DL hub was getting smaller.
AA stopped ZRH from DFW because of the end of the LX codeshare relationship.
DFW Fan Boy: Im crude, irreverent, and blunt, but Im not clueless. I offer no apologies.

Negative. I work at JAL, and the maintenance manager at my station was formerly the maintenance manager at DFW.
The loads were terrible, and the freight wasn't making up for it. That's why they quickly switched from a 744 to a J-Bird equipment. But, unfortunately, numbers never came up.

NZ used to serve DFW, and if I remember the route correctly it went AKL-PPT-DFW-LGW/FRA. Route wasn't daily; one day they did DFW-LGW and the other day DFW-FRA.

I don't believe they ever flew to DFW on their own metal. May have been when they had a code-share with DL.unless you are talking cargo.
As for BN, I don't recall them ever flying any nonstops to South America, with the possible exception of their "hub" in Panama City. Most everything went via MIA or PTY.
Air Jamaica flew there in the early 80's. Little known Aeroejectivos (dba Aeroexo) flew to MTY for a while. For some odd reason back in the 80's or 90's, Zambia Airways actually had route authority to DFW, but obviously was never taken up. More recently, Aeromexico left.

Braniff had cooperative service with BA (and perhaps AF). They ran 1-stop service via WAS to LON from DFW on Concorde. The DFW-WAS-DFW segments were operated by Braniff, my parents flew on the service back when. If memory serves, due to ownership requirements, the plane was 'sold' to Braniff for the domestic sectors, and the domestic registration applied with a magnetic 'sticker' that covered the British reg. Don't know about Air France. No concorde was ever in BN colors.

One would assume AA. To my knowledge no Canadian carrier ever flew to either YYC (CP perhaps towards the end?) or YEG from DFW. Other than YYZ, the only route served by a Canadian carrier was YVR by CP.
SQ used to actually show this route on their route maps from the early 90s. However, it was never flown with their own metal. It was just a codeshare/alliance agreement.

AA served YEG from DFW indeed. I flew it many times. It was once a day with a stop in YYC. early departure from YEG at 6 AM and the arriving from DFW-YYC was around midnight. It got killed around the time CP was integrating with AA

This was probably around the time they were partnering with DL.
On a similar note, LY served DFW and TLV partnering with North American via JFK.

Does MDT still have it's DFW flight?
