I have recently seen some very cheap last-minute long-haul flights – and we are, don’t forget, in May. Just a few examples to illustrate, all based on flying today (so booking and flying out the same day) and coming back on Monday:

1) LON-NYC? £290 (US). (Last week I managed to find it for around £250 return, leaving in the afternoon on the day of booking - even with BA);
2) LON-DXB? £214 (QR);
3) LON-HKG? £330 (QR);
4) LON-LAX? £335 (US);

Note: leaving today and coming back Monday just used as a guide.

I’d love to take advantage of the DXB deal and to combine it with inexpensive BG flights to, from and within Bangladesh (to get on 742, D10, 313, F28).
